This lovely 4-bedroom villa is located in a quiet area between Paphos and Coral Bay area, on the edge of Kissonerga village, surrounded by the sub-tropical banana plantations. The villa is secluded from any other properties as it is located within a field of 5,000 sq. meters.

The ground floor consists of an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The living area is comfortably furnished and entertainment is provided by the satellite TV (limited channels), DVD player and stereo system. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a small dining table seating 6. Two twin bedrooms are located on the ground floor each with ensuite shower rooms. A separate guest cloakrooom is also located on this level.

On the first floor are two double bedrooms, both of which have en suite bathrooms, and each with a private balcony overlooking the pool area clear across to the sea.

Each of the bedrooms and the living area is equipped with an air conditioning unit* for both cooling and heating. A safety deposit box is available. Beach towels and a hairdryer are supplied. A baby cot, highchair and stair gate can be provided on request.

Plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs are provided on the large verandah that surrounds the large 10m x 5m private swimming pool and a built in barbecue with outdoor sink provides the perfect opportunity for outdoor dining in those warm and peaceful summer evenings.

Location - Paphos, Kissonerga

Kissonerga is situated between the beach resort of Coral Bay and the town and harbour area of Paphos. Coral Bay is approximately 4 kilometres away whilst the harbour area of Paphos is approximately 8 kilometres away. Although Kissonerga produces citrus fruits and olives it is probably most well known for the cultivation of banana plantations, easily identified by their characteristic blue bags rustling in the breeze.

Loosely separated into two communities, the coastal area of Kissonerga features several hotels, a couple of mini-markets, a growing number of shops and a small selection of eating places covering everything from meze style dining to dishes with a more international flavour. The main beach for the Kissonerga area is the small sandy cove at Vardas Beach approximately 700 metres away which is great for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent and a small selection of watersports are available in the summer months.

Set approximately 2 kilometres inland is the residential village with a bank, chemist, two coffee shops, a small high class restaurant and even an English style pub!

Although car hire is highly recommended for all our villas to help you make the most of your stay, there is a bus service that connects Kissonerga with Paphos town and the sandy beach at Coral Bay.

Coral Bay is the well known beach resort for the Paphos district. This family oriented area has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach, a sandy horseshoe shaped bay honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, watersports are on offer and there are two beach cafés providing refreshments. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area know locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools.

Paphos Town once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff, is the main administrative centre and residential district and Kato Pafos, by the sea, built around the harbour and medieval port is the main tourist area.

Exploring Coral Bay, Paphos and everywhere in between, increases the list of available activities and attractions to include mini golf, watersports, go-karting, horse riding, a snooker hall, bowling alley, heritage sites, modern shopping facilities, a waterpark, an aquarium and the Paphos Bird and Animal Park.

There are 3 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course and Aphrodite Hills Golf Course within approximately 30 minutes drive.

Wheelchair friendly Two bedrooms are situated on the ground floor each with en suite facilites. As there are minimal steps from the ground floor to the pool terrace/gardens and the pool has walk in steps (with hand rail) this property is suitable for those with mobility difficulties but who are able to manage some steps. It is not suitable for those permanently confined to a wheelchair as there are no internal widened doorways, handrails in bathrooms etc
